Pretty as a Painting

My favorite place to visit to see this beautiful breed of horse is at the Grande Horn Ranch in Yukon (it's a short trip since I work there!). When the ranch originally purchased the herd in 2020, Thor and the girls were as wild as it gets. In the beginning, you could not get within 50 feet of any of them without them running off, but with a lot of patience, treats and trust, the group will come up to the truck and take treats from your hand now. Some of them even allow you to briefly touch them! These horses all have so much character and are truly a sight to see.
